The Ryetec KTS Forestry Timber Trailers are versatile and robust, designed for demanding forestry tasks with load capacities ranging from 5.5 to 13 tons. These trailers are equipped with cranes that offer reaches from 5.3 to 8.5 meters, making them suitable for a variety of timber handling operations. The trailers feature a range of specifications, including different chassis types, advanced crane systems, and customizable options to meet specific forestry requirements. Built to endure tough conditions, they provide reliable performance across all models.
Overview:
- A range of trailers available from 7 ton to 13 ton and now the 13 ton XL (Longer Bed).
- 40° Steering drawbar with twin rams (single ram on 8.5 ton).
- Robust spine chassis 180mm x 180mm with 6mm (8.5 ton),8mm (10 ton) or 10mm (11 ton) thick wall. Ladder chassis on 13 ton with rear slide out extension (4metres + 0.8m)
- 80mm x 80mm gate tested to withstand 1/3 of trailers rated load on top corner without failure complete with saw box (not 8.5 ton).
- Pivoting tandem axle bogies with 30° articulation for rough ground.
- 3.6 metre long bed (4m on 13ton) with optional slide out extention or longer chassis upto 4.8 metres.
- Powered axle.
- Brakes, hyd on 2 or 4 wheels or air on 4 wheels
- Lights.

Equipped with tandem pivoting axles that allow up to 30° articulation, paired with heavy-duty tires designed for tough terrain and optimal traction. - Brakes:
Includes options for hydraulic or air braking systems on twin axles, ensuring safe and efficient stopping power. - Crane Features:
Cranes on these trailers offer reaches from 5.3 to 8.5 meters, with a top-mounted main lift ram to improve lifting performance and reduce the risk of damage. The cranes also feature a heavy-duty slew ring with 370° rotation for extensive operational flexibility. The cranes are also 3pt linkage remountable.

Adds up to 0.8 meters to the bed, extending maximum length to 5.735 meters. - Sampo Hub Drive:
Powers the rear axle and crane operations via a PTO pump, with a switch-over valve for easy operation control. - Standing Platform:
